HOW FAR BACK WOULD YOU SET A PULL STATION FROM THE END OF AN OPEN ENDED CORRIDOR TO KEEP FROM HAVING TO USE AN OUTDOOR RATED PULL STSTION ?

Inside a door perhaps.... sorry to be smart, but if it is in an open corridor, it should be exterior rated, correct?

Guessing … draw a 45* angle from the edge of the overhang to the floor, to account for blowing rain, stay back of that line.

There is an apartment complex near where I am with open corridors, and they always use interior style exit signs and emergency lights. They are constantly breaking/malfunctioning due to weather. If you want your pull station to work when you need it, it really should be a rated weatherproof unit.
