we have factory and we have open space storage area for raw materials my question is how we would classify this area?

What are the materials? Piles of sand? Lumber? Chemicals? How large is the storage area.

mainly pipes "steel pipes"
area is about 2000m2 means approx 21527.82 ft2

I'm working on a project in Saudi Arabia which have now their own code but basically it's the same IBC 2015

no it's a Yard so no roof
