Anyone run into these? Enclosed or pavilion type structure similar to a shed for outdoor or satellite "classrooms"....You call them an E? Accessibility? What do you call it if it is less than 6 people?

Patio

I am thinking if large enough for classroom and depending on how enclosed,, Apply E.

If it looks like a patio,, it just may be a patio.

Seems like accessibility is a given, no matter what.

What is the sq. ft. If for only for 6 occupants it would have to be 120 sq. ft. or smaller.
320sqft so maybe 16 people....the 6 came from the E occupancy text and just struck me as "what would you call an E< 6 OL?"..... B?

305.1 Educational Group E. Educational Group E occupancy
includes, among others, the use of a building or structure,
or a portion thereof, by six or more persons at any one
time for educational purposes through the 12th grade.

E uses require sealed plans and one of the things I am trying to avoid even though it might make my life easier. An A <50 does not (B)........Still have to figure out FSD.....

303.1.3 Associated with Group E occupancies. A room
or space used for assembly purposes that is associated with
a Group E occupancy is not considered a separate occupancy.

Yeah.....but....It's an A associated with an E that's <50 so it's a B and no longer an A associated with an E...OK?...LOL

I just really don't want to make this eagle scout get sealed plans for this 320 sqft gazebo.....If a good designer wanted to donate some time to assist, I would have no issues with that, and as soon as I run into a good designer I will ask them.... ;) Present company discluded of course....

Your point being that this is an Eagle project? On a school site? if so it will require a permit and a POT to it.
