PA 2015 code

just took the class on the 2015 IRC changes. Believe it or not PA just made the codes more Complicated than I ever. When using the 2015 IRC we need to jump to some tables and sections in the 2018 and 2009 IRC besides PA’s own made up tables and sections. This is crazy.
 
This is the most stupid mess! I could not have ever though this could have gone this far. PA & L&I plus the advisors need to have their heads examined. The start of the state wide code was to create a level playing field for all and to simplify the code to one standard.

Also, not sure if most stupid is correct English! However, it is real stupid!

New York State is similar in that they adopted the 2015 ICC codes than handed us a 195 page supplement which we need to consult before going to the ICC books and that's not to mention the energy code supplement. As another writer pointed out we were sold a bill of good saying how much easier this step was going to make our lives. Apparently I'm missing something, like efficiency or any other benefit from getting involved with ICC.
