Parapet Construction

2018 IBC, II-A construction, R-2 occupancy, sprinkled, non-rated exterior wall assembly & 1-hr roof assembly.
The contractor is questioning the requirement for FRT blocking & plywood at the parapet.
Does the blocking & plywood need to be fire retardant per 705.11?

There is nothing in 705.11 that requires FRT anywhere......But I looked in the 2015.....

Check IBC 603.1 for combustible materials permitted in buildings of Type I or II construction.
