I have an interesting situation here. I've got a 437m2 aircraft hangar that need to be a part 4 design due to post-disaster requirements.
A one-storey f2 <600m2 is a Part 9 building.
Yet the designer submitted it under Part 3. I'm accepting and evaluating it as such, since the critical elements aren't that different.
How would you proceed in the same situation? (I'm of the view that one can always design to a higher level of code if desired.)
