If a door is not part of an accessible route, but use primarily as an emergency exit to the exterior of a building, what is the maximum slope you can have if there is a sidewalk running up to the door? The sidewalk is the landing and sidewalk all in one.

1:48 or 50...whatever

1010.1.4 Floor Elevation

Diagram
There shall be a floor or landing on each side of a door. Such floor or landing shall be at the same elevation on each side of the door. Landings shall be level except for exterior landings, which are permitted to have a slope not to exceed 0.25 unit vertical in 12 units horizontal (2-percent slope).
Exceptions:

There are exceptions to 1010.1.4 that may apply, especially exception #2, depending on occupancy. Some exceptions allow for a 7” height difference, and it does not say it has to be a step, so that height can include some kind of slope steeper than 1:48.
Also note that in ADA 404.2.4.1, the maneuvering clearances are only associated with the approach side of the door, so if it is an exit-only door, there would be no accessible maneuvering clearances on the sidewalk side of the door.

Yes, but....the elevation there are some gimmies for, but slope is a bit different....There is very little exception for slope/ pitch IMO...
