Ok staying in a hotel that was renovated last year

1. Sprinklers in lobby and in hallway on upper floors

2. None in the sleeping rooms

3. System smokes by elevator and one in one of two hallways. Out of spacing

4. But they do add a few single stations in the hallways to make ip for non systems smokes

Must be performances base designp

Hay at least they painted the concealed sprinkler covers the same color as the hallway walls

My understanding is that NYC recently adopted the IBC with ammendments. Previously their code was unique to say the least.
