All these years, I've been laboring under the notion that an African swallow could carry a coconut and a European swallow could not. And now I just found out that there's actually very little difference between the two. So I don't know if that means that both species can carry coconuts or both cannot.

If either bird drops the coconut, it may split upon impact.
