This material is approved for use for natural gas in both the UPC and the IFGC.

Are any of you seeing this being installed on the interior gas piping? Are there any requirements to observe or inspect the heat fusion.
 
I believe GasCo using it to supply homes in the utility but haven't seen it inside. I see CSST yellow and black jacket being used inside.

UPC 1210.7 "... outdoors, underground only"
IFGC 404.15.1 "... outdoors underground only."

I think the guy that told me they were using it indoors back in the midwest must have confused it with coated CSST

There's nail plates over the iron pipe but not the polyethylene.
