Power line clearance

It looks like National Electrical Code 230.0(A) allows a 120/240 volt service to be 3 ft. from a building.

If the service is along a side with gutters I would recommend making sure the service is at least 8 ft. above the gutter (applying NEC 230.24(A)). People don't always watch where their ladders are going.
