Power line clearance

It looks like National Electrical Code 230.0(A) allows a 120/240 volt service to be 3 ft. from a building.
If the service is along a side with gutters I would recommend making sure the service is at least 8 ft. above the gutter (applying NEC 230.24(A)). People don't always watch where their ladders are going.

Contact your local electrical provider and ask them. Sometimes their rules are more restrictive than the code.
