Is there a code requirement in IMC for using propane forklifts in warehouses as opposed to lithium-ion battery forklifts?

related, has anyone had to deal with a warehouse where idling cars are inside the space? i assume it's then a parking garage at 0.75 cfm/sf...

Air change Rate Ventilation ASHRAE 62 Table
...provide ventilation for a warehouse. Per ASHRAE, you need to provide min. 0.06 cfm per sq ft fresh air. But there are some recommendations to provide 4-8 times air changes per hour. The difference between ASHRAE and recommendation is significant.

Keep in mind the difference between fresh outdoor air, and air circulation. You can have a completely closed system that recirculates 100% of the air in a space 4 to 8 times in an hour. To meet the intent of the code for ventilation, though, you need to introduce at least a percentage of fresh outdoor air into the circulation system. The code establishes 20% as the minimum percentage for most applications, so to arrive at the circulation you take the number of cfm of outdoor air required, then multiply it by five to get the total circulation needed for the space.

With a balanced system, obviously if you introduce 20% fresh air at the air handling unit, the AHU also has to exhaust an equivalent volume from the return stream.
