In the exuberance to upgrade this web site software, were the previous postings

/ discussions, on the residential stairs archived somewhere or possibly misplaced? :?:

I find that I would like to refer back to them, especially the multi-pager one where

a majority of the forum members displayed their passionate views on them. :D

I have tried the ' search function ' on this new upgraded site and am unable to

locate the previous discussions.

Can someone please assist me? Much Thanks! ;)

Mule,

Thanks for locating the discussion and the link! Yeeeeep, that's the one! :)

Well, I have such a stairway indicated on a set of plans for a residential

addition. The stairs DO appear compliant with R311.5, which is a good thing!

Plus, that discussion IS a good source for differing viewpoints and opinions

on R311.5.

fatboy & Uncle Bob,

You guys are just too funny! If we need to start [ or rather "continue" ]

the discussion on R311.5, then let `er rip! I enjoy reading the banter and

all of the discussions. Plus, I think that it helps me to be a better inspector &

plans examiner. Hopefully, everyone reading that discussion will be better

for it as well.
