Hi! I got a 2-family brownstone in Brooklyn. 3floors. Top two floors is one apartment. Currently I’ve got a roof access hatch in a closet in the top floor hallway. I’d like to include that space in a adjoining bedroom effectively putting the roof hatch in a bedroom. Is this allowed per code?

Roof access / means of egress in bedroom
