Would you approve this? Owner has an existing service counter to be put in his new location. Needs an accessible service counter so he wants to use a separate table either as shown or at the end. I can't find a code to prohibit it.
That was my comment because they showed nothing. Architect asked if they could provide a "table" for the lowered section. I still can't find a prohibition. I find nothing that says it has to be bolted to the floor, or attached to the non-accessible portion. The architect said the owner said it is impossible to do. Of course I said nothing is impossible with the proper amount of will and skill. But, if I can't cite a code, I can't cite a code.Interesting. I can't find a code that allows it ...
