I seeing a lot of commercial retail and business plans coming in with no service sink, is this a new trend?
Is this type sink not being required anymore?

Same thing with water fountains, I get the "were gonna have a bottled water dispenser!", but neither one is drawn on the plans.

PC,

The Tables in Ch. 29; of the `15 IBC & Ch. 4 of
the IPC, almost all Occupancy Types "require"
a Service Sink.

IMO, ...no new trends, just attempts to cut
costs and compliance with the Codes.
