A mob of people gathered in the Roseville Galleria Mall to sing. Too many people on the second floor and people began to hear popping sounds. The Mall was evacuated.

Same Mall was nearly destroyed by a fire caused by a person with mental problems and during the police action the sprinkler system was turned off.

Some days it just doesn't pay.

In these types of cases (prior to potentials); the hosting jurisdiction should have prevenative inspection programs in place or develop them quickly. In these programs as with many others, education is the key feature. Enforcers can't be at each site at any given time....... so one needs to educate the security staff to aid in getting compliance and prevention measures in place on what to look for. In this manner the jurisdiction has also protected itself from the news in the event of tragedy........just sayin.

Flash mop's don't think with their heads and the sheep and lambs are well.....led to slaughter.

Be proactive and work with your jurisdcition's agencies "as team" and begin educating your potential target hazards as a team. Now lets all sing Kumbi Aye ;)
