Soundproof over existing 1-hour fire wall

Hello,
I am evaluating the best way to add sound proofing material to an existing 1-hour fire wall.
Two existing firewalls with about 2,000 sf need to be soundproofed from neighboring tenants.
Adding soundboards or green glue are options, though there are different types and cost. What's your experience in soundproofing existing fire wall without disturbing the assembly or fire compliance?

Just have to check interior finish requirements for type of occupancy and construction type

I look at soundproofing in 3 levels....depending on how intrusive you want to be and how much money you want to spend. Mass is your friend with respect to soundproofing, so simply adding a second layer of gyp. bd. will help. The next level would be to add a second layer using a proprietary gyp. bd meant for soundproofing. This stuff is pricey....some panels have lead in them and can't be cut like normal gyp. bd. I have heard that some cell phones are affected by the lead, but I haven't verified it. The last and costliest level is to add resilient channels to the wall with a layer of gyp attached. This system will add about 2" to the wall thickness. It's tricky to get right, using acoustic sealants and isolating adjacent floor and ceiling finishes and electrical outlet boxes, but will give you the best results.
