Spamming

The spamming on the forum has gotten out of hand. Isn't there some form of security that the host can implement to prevent this?

The spammer's computer is broken. It has placed hundreds of threads at commercial fire. It's still going.

Nope option is still there on spam threads

New threads were popping up faster than I could delete them. So I figured it needed a super-mod to handle it.

The spam button witch allows you to ban the member and delete all their posts has been reset to 400 to make it much easier to handle these pricks.

I usually get a few early here on the East coast, not sure when they actually pop up...

When I delete them I use the permanently button. Then up pops many that were deleted but only removed from public view....so I delete those too...permanently. You guys have a reason for leaving them here but hidden?

Just took out 5 of them from this morning - I actually deleted one while the spammer was still logged in!

I've gotten 10 or so in the last few days.

What happened? Some new mlm scheme just got started?

I just knocked out 8.............been averaging 4-6 a day it seems like, that I catch.

This morning I was deleting as they were posting. How do I ban the spammer? And when you guys delete a post but leave it as invisible to everyone but a moderator it plugs up the category. If I click on commercial electrical there will be a ton of red that is deleted posts. I have gone through and permanently deleted the posts which cleans them out but you guys could hit the right button and do it for me.

Is there a way to delete spam in bulk without checking the box for each one?
