I was forwarded this link yesterday and thought it was interesting. There really isn't any description or measurements shown, but it appears that along this stairway one of the rises exceeds 3/8" variance allowance. I'm sure this exists in many parts of the country I just thought you all would appreciate it. Maybe it was even posted here previously and I missed it?

that's why i carry a framing square in my truck. contractors don't lioke it when they have to rip them apart, but, oh well. if they're wrong, take it out and fix it. great video by the way, love nyc!
 
I thought someone would have posted this previously, but figured it couldn't hurt for those of us who hadn't seen it.
