One of the soldiers that was killed in the helicopter incident that happened in August was the brother of one of my son's friends. Their family has three boys - the oldest was killed, the middle (my son's age) just finished boot camp and is now off to be a Marine, and the youngest is still in high school. This family loves their country and has instilled that same value in their children, with one paying the ultimate sacrifice for our country so that those of us that are still here can enjoy our freedoms. The way the community came together to celebrate the life of this courageous young man and the strength that his family displays is what keeps this country going. We must take these back first, if not the politicians will surely sell our souls.
