Testing Out New Site

The counter for thread views is off. I realize that you give that no importance but I do. A thread that I created has 185,348 views. Another has 73,543. There can't be many forums with stats like that.

There should be a picture of a ladder sticking out of a hole. Instead there is a "View Attachment 1822". Click on that and a picture of some plumbing pops up.

And there's the hound dog.

I didn't find a 30 day box or a way to shut it off. So far it appears that I must retrieve a passcode from my email each time that I log on.
On the new site

Go to your name at the top and open the drop down

There is a choice for " two step verification"

Look around that, I think you can turn it off/ disable

I found the 30 day box. There is a "disable" button but it turns off the method....not the madness. If you click on disable it turns off one and turns on the other.

I can get in without logging in because of the 30 day box. So presumably I will need a pass-code again in 30 days.

Sawhorse Code Talk and Sawhorse Whine and Cheese are misplaced and Bird Brains is missing.

There is a useful links forum but then many of the links are listed separately.

I had to log in again. I gave my email and pasword and got this far. I am stuck here. Every button says that I don't have permission to do that. I wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard that.

When I tried to log into the new site it wouldn't let me. After use of the other posts I tried a password reset would let me login but then it comes up with an error screen (screenshot attached)
Working on this tomorrow. I too had the same issue. I logged out, logged back in and was reset. The site is really taking shape but all the work being done to get it together is causing these issues that we need to iron out. I think it is an issue with the permissions which are very different than vbulletin. I'm on a learning curve but the end result will be much better than vbulletin.

Never got past logging in...threw errors up every time i tried. even tried a password reset and create a new log in --- still having issues in the sunny south...
I hate to ask you to clear your cache but we did a lot of work late last night and it is essentially all new. I will try to get you manually in.

I'm having the same issue again today. I tried clearing my cache and cookies etc. and didn't have any effect.
