Beach,

Cuda are soooo much fun. I remember a day a few years ago on Andros Island in the Bahamas where a Brit came onto the Jetty and said wow.......and stuck his hand down and I pushed him back and said......you want to bring up a stump :) Enjoy and be safe. Boat is fueled and lines are clear of that crappy cottonwood from last week.....thight lines :)

Chris....sorry but the Snook should be biting soon and the crowds will return to Joe Robie.......yea whatever they call it now ;)

CD......the wings are out so not watching anymore. VC looked good the first two though :) Can't wait until that relief/closer pitcher gets back huh ;)

ok...........don't fish......I know, almost un-American. But, am going to drag the pleasure boat out of the weeds, so I can get my older sons to pull a couple tires off for repair. The youngest, soldier son, wants a weekend at the lake when he comes home on leave in July, so I will do my best to make that happen.

Rockies roared out of the gate......and, well, have sucked since then, have no idea WTF they are going to do from here.

Still wounded from shoulder surgery, but have 3500 s.f. of sod that I will be picking up Sunday, to be placed in my yard, thank goodness for kids and friends. After 13 years of dirt, low maintenance..........grass, maintenance............might be nice..........guess I can always till it under. Go back to dirt, right?

Yesterday was the first day back to work officially, and I made it through most of the day.......woooo-hoooo.........I guess. Course, now I'm up at 3:30 a.m. with my shoulder screaming at me, poking around the net. wooo-hoooo...........

Have a great weekend folks!

Spent the weekend at my new part-time job - refueling aircraft at our local muni airport. Saturday refueled a cobra helicopter for USFS and a med evac helicopter. Yesterday it was a king air jet used for med evac.

With the extra hours, I should get 40 a week now.

Weed whacked on Friday and Sunday PM after work. Today is mow the acre or so and keep the grass and weeds down. Fire season is upon us, we've already had our first for the year, the Cougar fire up by Lava Beds National Monument. It was contained on Saturday after the rain.

Will do Coug. I didn't know you were a Canuck fan, or is it rather you are just not a Bruins fan? I am more interested to see if we have the first under-water college world series. Finally these college kids could put all those "under-water" basket weaving and fire-prevention course work to good use.

I actually consulted on the New Boston Garden when it was built so my loyalties are split. However, after many years in Seattle, I'd like to see the cup come home for the first time in many years. Seattle actually won the first Stanley Cup. I'm afraid the levee break in Hamburg this morning is only an opening salvo of what we are going to face this summer. Glad my house is on top of the hill.

I probably would have had to refuse consultation services as I am a Habs fan (and not a Bruins fan), but that still must have been a fun project to work on. I wouldn't mind seeing Vancouver win it all either.

I don't know if I would start building an ark just yet if I lived in Hamburg, but I would definitely hope I lived on a hill. Is there a grain elevator in Hamburg?
