I have a few H-3 and H-4 spaces inside an F-1 building. Per 508.4, the H spaces are separated from the F-1 spaces with a 1 hour wall, and half of the exits from the H space are through the F-1 space. The travel distance from H-3 is 150ft, and from F-1 it is 250ft, Does anyone know if the 150ft has to get all the way to the building exit from the H-3 space, or can I take the 150ft to the exit of the H-3 room, and use the rest of the 100ft difference to get to the building exit through the F-1 space?

This one is easy. Travel distance is measured to an exit. See Section 1017.3 (2018 IBC).

So if the path crosses through multiple occupancies, the most restrictive governs regardless of the distance traveled through that part?

Each occupancy group must have access to an exit within the prescribed distances.

If the code allowed the situation as you stated, then all someone would need to do to overcome a travel distance shortfall is to insert a Group B between the exit and the other occupancy group they want to extend the travel distance.
