with the outage this morning.. just wondering if any of you have to use tyler tech for permitting software... we have been moving to encode 10 and it's a painful process.. unfortunately most staff are compartmentalized and cannot help.. if they can you stay on hold for hours... most app and online dashboard stuff seems like it was quickly released.. before it was ready... not really intuitive design at all... have to go through 2 or 3 things just to input one piece of data...

we often joke about going to the board of alderman or management to try to get them to go to another system... Tyler tech is pretty expensive and very much lacking

We use MyGovernmentOnline which is on an AWS server and not affected. Tyler is super expensive and not worth the cost.

I've used Tyler Incode for over 17 years, ties into business licensing and water billing, pulls information over into your permits, works fine.

I remember when the new administrator came on board, complained about replacing the software, but that's what they do, spend tax money and increase their salary.
