The meeting agenda includes reports from Board committees and the Executive Director, as well as updates on agency rulemaking and other activities. In addition, guest speaker Karen Peltz-Strauss of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau will give a presentation on an FCC initiative to provide sign language-based consumer support through direct video communication. A public comment period will be held during the final 15 minutes of the meeting.

While they are at it they might just as well ban bacon too now that the empire plans to ban it.

The vegan advocacy group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) was equally ready."Since the World Health Organization confirms that eating bacon, hot dogs, ham, and other processed meats causes cancer, PETA is offering a free vegan starter kit and a personal vegan mentor to anyone ready to ward off cancer as well as a slew of other health issues by going vegan," the group said in a gleeful email. ¹

But can I smoke my cigars, or are they going to ban me too? Guess I could sue them for ageism since all of us octogenarians smoke cigars, the male ones anyway.
