U.S. Access Board Webinar: Accessible Shared Streets - Notable Practices and Considerations for Accommodating Pedestrians with Vision Disabilities (April 5)
The next webinar in the U.S. Access Board's free monthly series will take place April 5 from 2:30 – 4:00 (ET) and will cover access to shared streets. Shared streets blend pedestrian, vehicle, and bike traffic and pose unique challenges to pedestrians with vision impairments. A representative from the Federal Highway Administration, which has issued a report on accessibility best practices for shared streets, will join the Access Board in conducting this session. Presenters will review issues people with vision impairments face, as well as the strategies they use, in navigating shared streets. They also will outline recommendations and considerations for integrating accessibility in street planning and design.
Visit www.accessibilityonline.org for more information or to register for the webinar.
Questions can be submitted in advance of the session or can be posed during the webinar.
Webinar attendees can earn continuing education credits.
The webinar series is hosted by the ADA National Network in cooperation with the Board.
Archived copies of previous Board webinars are available on the site. http://links.govdelivery.com/track?...ps://www.accessibilityonline.org/ao/archives/

Suggest if not already registered that you do so as they will let you know when additional webinars occur, also you can review past webinars in their archive.
Good stuff.

Great Plains ADA Center used to do many webinars that I used for continuing education. I do not see that being offered anymore? Perhaps I am missing something?

Maybe because they host the National ADA Symposium every year? Have you checked their website recently?
Also note that many of the other Centers also have great websites too.

Yes I have looked and the website is all new, but nowhere can I find the webinars and schedule? I shot them an e-mail, awaiting a response.
It was a great resource for continuing education
