Talk about whine........check out uncle's post on the icc forum "help & suggestions" and kyle's response.

Sounds really familiar to me.......uncle seems to be caught in a black hole vortex.

You just can't please everyone....although, it appeared that he liked the "Code Professionals" forum.....it just didn't have much action and he abandoned it pretty quick when the ICC forum was back on.

Kyle: "Wow UB, tell us how you really feel"

Hehehehehe........

You know, he can always come back here if he wants. But I think pride is getting in his way. He'd rather suffer on another forum. If he really wanted to be a part of the discussion, he'd show up where the discussion is at.

I, for one, miss Uncle Bob. However, nothing in this life is free. I support this forum because I want it to be here. Others, I'm sure, do the same. You don't have to be a supporter to use the forum, and that's OK with me. Not everyone can afford to support every cause that presents on the request list. We have to pick and choose where we send our money. The ICC forum is dismal at best. Not what it used to be, and not easy to use. Hence this forum which is active, easy to use, and worthwhile. Thanks to Jeff for getting it off the ground and to everyone who posts for keeping it worthwhile and active. Uncle Bob could come back any time, if he wanted to. It is his loss to not participate. And, if you are lurking Uncle Bob: welcome back!

Sometimes complaints are valid and stop us to think about issues we may have over looked. I have encouraged UB to return, but that is his choice. Jeff is correct that some will never be satisfied. Thus they can stay or leave. Still miss that old dog anyway.

Miss him too. Unless you know there is an issue, you have no motivation to change it. The ICC site is really still not what they said it would be back in Denver. I lurk there sometimes, but don't really have the time to even keep up here (my first choice).

I tried to post one suggestion but it disappeared on me, but there is so much "side bar" stuff (ICC advertisements mostly) and the line spacing is such that the posts are really hard to read as there arn't many on one page and you have to scroll a lot.

Uncle Bob has posted again in the Res. Plumbing thread.

FWIW, ...it's **Uncle Bob** & **Durant** combined in to

one poster.

very busy.. a little bit of burn out.

Took at class at the local community college this past semester "structures for architects" in prep for the PE in April.. ended up with an A, but I had to build a balsa wood bridge. Testing was done the same day as a presentation I had to give at GSA headquarters.

thanks for asking, by the way. Look for me alot between the holidays.. I've vowed to stay away from work, so to occupy my time.. (and I have $100 bet on the line that I'll stay away from work, so I have a stake in it)... I'll hang out in here.

not there.. who knows? I many be stamping all kinds of crazy plans in your neighborhood next year!

or not..

Happy Holidaze, all!
