I saw someone T from the cold water on the sink to the toilet.
I like that idea, is there any thoughts on it being ok, to T after the shutoff under the vanity, to run a line to the toilet?
I want to know both the thoughts and the code....
or do I need to continue to use the line specific to the toilet?

I currently redoing a screwed up bathroom remodel. One of the problems is that the shutoff for the toilet is half recessed into the wall. I would rather cap it, put an aluminum cover over it, and run water from the vanity. Otherwise, we shut off water, open wall up, sweat on about 3" extension and put the shutoff back on...

I just prefer the cleaner look of the shutoffs under the vanity...

Thanks

I'm not clear about what you are asking about T after shut off. It can be done with a double-handed valve which meets individual cut-off requirements
Thank you, now I better understand my question "Can I run the toilet supply line from the vanity" was the question... So the answer is " It is allowed IF you use a double handed valve so both the sink and the toilet have their own shut off valve.".
