[h=3]Brochure: Designing to Meet IRC Fire Protection Provisions for I-Joist Floor Systems[/h]This new brochure describes several different methods of satisfying IRC fire protection provisions for I-joist floors, including gypsum board ceiling membranes, gypsum board applied directly to I-joist flanges and webs, ceramic fiber blanket, mineral wool insulation, and fire protective coatings. Options provided in the brochure satisfy fire-protective membrane requirements of the 2012 and 2015 International Residential Code (IRC) related to I-joist floor systems.
