High School home economics classes want to do ethnic food lessons. They want to use woks and maybe fondue. They said it would be about 4 times a year. Not a Type I hood. What would you do in your jurisdiction?
 
Ask for a few more fire extinguishers

Maybe one good size one by each stove

Also have them to extinguisher use class before cooking students included

It's nice that they were up front about it, but without a permanent piece of equipment I do not see how you can enforce much. IMO what cda suggest is about the most you can do or hope for.
