Why You Should Look Inside P-Taps

Whenever you see big wire and small wire in the same P-Tap, you need to look a little closer. P-Taps have a minimum and maximum wire size they are rated for. In this case I noticed 600MCM and 3/0 at the P-Tap along with a #6. The Tap was rated #4 to 600MCM and as a result, you can see what the electrician did to make it work. NEC 110.3(B)
