Ok,
So there have been a few topics about OSHA inspections, going up a ladder, etc. So you need to inspect a ceiling/roof beam type of assembly, (sprinkler system brace, electrical run, spray coating of a structural member, etc.). The contractor has a lift and is willing to take you up. The height is 37 feet to all of the locations across a concrete floor.
1. Do you wear a harness?
2. Did you bring your own harness?
3. Would you use a harness provided by the contractor?
4. Are you trained in OSHA Fall Protection Requirements?
5. Do you use Fall Restraint or Fall Arrest?
6. The contractor wants to move the lift while it is still at 30 feet above the floor to the next location, are you ok with moving a raised lift?
7. Do you know if your state has a provision for compliance to OSHA or it has a similar requirement for government workers?
