We have a white water rafting company that wants to put a zip line across the river at one of their drop points. We feel this is not covered in the code but just want some reassurance that this is correct. Anybody ever dealt with the installation of a zip line? Thanks.

There was also a thread on playground equipment and some called the large structures "A-5" I believe

is that a building code requirement?

The link in post #3 was the post I started about a zip line tour going in. We permitted the tour as an amusement park ride. The general operation and safety protocols were established and inspected by the State. We inspected site issues, including accessiblity. I would double check the accessiblity and make sure you are compliant. If someone with a disablity would like to use this, they should be afforded the same opportunity.
