Greetings everyone,
I'm an architect from Egypt, I need to know what type of code courses that will help me to develop my skills and my career path regarding Building codes and Life safety codes.
I use IBC 2015 and NFPA 101 daily at the design development stage, I make Tender and construction drawings for almost all classifications.
Also, what is CEU, and what it means by saying 0.1 CEU or 0.5 CEU?
In the end, what are the best courses that suit my career and will develop my skills to make me a valuable architect?

CEU + Continuing Education Units.
Certified Inspectors and Plan Reviewers need to complete so many CEU's to keep our ICC and state certifications every 3 years.
Easy to find courses, just google.

I would take any and every course you can.
You may only learn one thing, but that is one thing learned.

Not sure what is available to you.

Here is a great book to get::

Here is an online source:

Here is a great site for dealing with door issues::

Not much on commercial:(

Thanks a lot for your help, Most of our work comes from Saudi Arabia and they have SBC the metric version of IBC

Years ago a contractor bought a company that shipped prefabricated houses to Saudia Arabia. The containers were amazing....simply amazing. I was told that the footings were 4'x4'x4'. Something to do with poor aggregate and beach sand. That sounds like a story to me.

So the contractor bought the company to prefabricate condominiums and apartment buildings. The factory was not all that sharp and a 3'0" header was 30" to them. Every header in several three story apartment building had to the redone. They spent a few thousand dollars on Saws-All blades. I took a piecework deal for lap siding and trim. Only the first floors were siding. From there I built the carports. I was there for two years....quite a few stories.

The owner hired an off season linebacker from the 49er's. Massive person. One day I was walking down a deserted street when six feet of 2"x6" came flying over a house. It landed in the street. Brutus was entertaining the laborer crew with feats of strength. He lasted about a month. His next gig was acting in porn movies in Florida. I guess the money was better in Florida.
