1966 floor construction

We have a renovation in an old R-2 mult-tenant building. I dug thru our old code books and I couldn't find if they even required the floors to have fire proofing between the two floors. They have CMU walls between the units but the floor when exposed it wasn't clear if it had rated floor construction - I found the old drawings - I'm guessing 1 11/16" Homosite (homosote?) had some sort of fireproofing. They want to do some minor cuts and repairs for utilities. I'm not sure what to tell them to do for patching - thoughts?

Homasote is a product that has been around for about 100 years. It is a sound control product and has no fireproofing ability.

Any floor/ceiling rated assembly would require the rating from the ceiling side not the floor side.

The 5/8" drywall provides something but not what we would see today.

Yes - 1956 Uniform Building Code - I'm digging thru it but it is a lot different than the modern codes.

Minor cutting and patching....Replace with something approximately equivalent out of IBC Ch. 7 for calculated fire resistance...722 maybe?
