So who gets the correction notice? The electrician or the HVAC contractor. Maybe the design professional should pay for the correction if they are installed per plans.

Job security for the HVAC contractor. Units guaranteed not to work properly and probably be replaced within 5 years.
Or maybe the row alternates between heat pumps running in heating mode blowing cool air into the next unit running in cooling mode....:D

Just a simple oversight and things happen quickly. Metal gas cans might have prevented this truck and equipment from being a total loss.

L-642 dispatched for a vehicle fire at the construction site of the new Costco building. E-631 responded for assistance. Multiple fire extinguishers had been deployed with no effect. L-642, upon arrival found a well-involved motor vehicle fire next to the loading docks of the building. The vehicle was a mobile welding truck with flammable materials on board. Crews utilized Class B foam for full fire control. Truck sustained significant damage but only minor damage to the building.

Fire was caused by one worker on a telehandler deployed above the welding truck and welding an awning overhang. Sparks were falling onto the truck were two fuel cans and other flammable liquids were, causing the fire. With the amount of fuel burning the fire quickly consumed the bed and cab of the truck. No injuries reported.

A little bondo, a little paint … good as new.

Maybe they shouldn’t sell compliant plastic gas cans … ?
