Greetings to all,

An interesting case popped up the last couple of days. I was called for a gas test to get a ladies gas turned back on after a leak had been discovered.

She has to be well into her 80's. She had been sick with headaches and throwing up for 3 days while her carbon monoxide alarm was beeping at least some of the time. She thought the alarm was malfunctioning. Now you gotta be mindful she is really elderly and living alone. She finally called the gas company and everything got fixed. Pretty scary stuff.

I think one of the problems is alot of alarms sound alike. I was called to a house to check smoke alarms making noise, and finaly tracked it to a carbon monoxide detector
