Does a storage room in R-2 occupancy require a separation?

IBC 03 & 09 NFPA

They are new apartment units; each with a storage room. Storage room will be accessed from the open breezeway (that connects all the units).

One of the storage room will be 93 sq.ft. (the rest will be less than 50 sq.ft.).

Building will be sprinkled

I would say no separation required based on 2003 IBC Table 302.1.1 Incidental Use Areas, storage rooms over 100 sq. ft. require 1 hr or sprinklered. FYI they took parking and storage areas out of the 2009 IBC incidental use area table.
