Is the 32" clear door opening requirement also required for restaurant counter passthrough gate?

So you might get out of accessible, but you would still have to meet IBC 1010.1.1 or whatever door width is in your code which I don't believe has a gimme in a bar....

Then maybe not....Unless you are in the "doors provided for egress" applies to every door camp....And then it would....

What do you mean by "restaurant counter passthrough gate"? I don't think a section of countertop that hinges up would be considered as a door.

Tough to say what is to "plan South"....

If the gate has a latch and closer you will need 12" on push side. 32" clear would be required in CA
