Doors, doorways and gates

So you might get out of accessible, but you would still have to meet IBC 1010.1.1 or whatever door width is in your code which I don't believe has a gimme in a bar....

even if there is plenty of compliant egress from behind the bar?
 
What do you mean by "restaurant counter passthrough gate"? I don't think a section of countertop that hinges up would be considered as a door.
