Multi family dryer venting

There's no way I know of for a dryer duct to penetrate a rated lid except running it within the wall assembly through the top plate. It looks like the wall behind the dryer is a rated separation wall? If so, they either need a listed system like a Dryerbox installed according to their instructions depending what the rating of the wall is, or built another non-rated wall in front of the rated wall, then they can put all the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC for the laundry in that wall and not have to worry about protecting any of the wall openings.
