I have a builder that wants to use some play netting as a large hommock at a hotel. The hammock would elevated so patrons could see the river. Are there any codes or comments on how or whether I should permit this?

If it becomes popular with the college age kids, expect it to be like a deck but with dynamic movement built in. Couple of beers, lets see how many folks we can get on the netting and how high it will bounce. Is this custom? What's it being attached to?
If custom, I assume an engineer would need to be involved to ensure that the net and anchors can withstand the weight of however many people are on it.
Haphazardly assembled, no maintenance or periodic evaluation, and run by a random druggie?Sounds to me like it should be treated as an amusement ride.
