Pool for R2

If the building would be required to have A/B units installed I would think the pool or other exterior features would be required to be accessible. So I'm going with yes

Interesting....

A new 4-unit R2 is planned with a common pool area for the four owners to share. Is a chair lift for the pool required?
Not if the buildings are covered by the Fair Housing Act. You are only required to have an accessible route to the pool. no pool lift is required.
Ask the fair housing first technical - you can call or email.
