Small Prefab Carport Permit Requirement

We can give you code and our interpretations but it is up to the AHJ's BO to render his. There may be something in the zoning code. Have had BO's that go both ways. One said since it isn't specifically exempt it requires a permit, the other went with the sq. ft. Our zoning requires permits for any accessory structure and they are free placement permit till you reach the 200 sq. ft.
