Fire separation required between B and exterior court with Assembly areas (seating areas and pool with deck)?

Probably over thinking this… but I am working on a hotel clubhouse (detached from the dwelling units) with B occupancy use for conference rooms and offices, wrapping around 2 courtyards containing assembly seating areas in the middle, and the second court containing a large fenced in exterior...

    HWH / WD Separation Requirement?

This is a multifamily building in NYS. I was told that our tankless HWH could not be in the same closet as a stacked washer/gas dryer. I can't seem to find anything about this? Maybe NFPA? Anyone know if this is true?

    Wedding Equipment Rental Classification

Looking at IBC 2015 here. I have a wedding/party rental tenant that is wanting to use the upper level of a 2 story building as display for their merchandise, so I'm calling this Mercantile (M), and the lower level of the building as storage and loading/unloading. Where I get confused, though...

    Fire-rated floor-ceiling separation

Given a small three story office building, non-combustible construction, and non-sprinkled. Entirely code compliant in terms of allowable height and area for a type "B" occupancy. Again I must say that there is only one type of occupancy throughout the entire building so that there is no need...
