We have a wall that is running diagonal to the property line, and so various points of the wall have different allowable areas. How do you go about calculating the total allowable area of openings for the wall? Would we simply add together the allowable area for each segment? It is worth noting that our openings are actually placed within the portion of the wall with the maximum allowable area, but we would like to use the total wall length in our calculations if possible.
