Welcome....nice to see a contractor interested in code stuff....Hello everyone,
I'm excited to join The Building Code Forum. My name is Ahmad Rauf, and I’ve been working in the residential construction industry for 5 years. I’m a licensed contractor based in Staten Island, and I run my own company, EverSet Masonry.
Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate how critical code knowledge is—not just to pass inspections, but to ensure we’re building safe, high-quality homes that stand the test of time. I joined this forum to expand my understanding of code requirements, keep up with changes, and hopefully contribute where I can from a contractor’s perspective.
Looking forward to learning from inspectors, architects, engineers, and fellow builders here. It’s great to be part of a community that takes building standards seriously.
